Two cards using the Spellbinders die S1-004 `Love in Flight`. The top card has Tonic mat and layers and a MS heart border punch. The bottom card has a SU stamp and Tim Holtz sentiment die cut three times to make it stand out.
I was a bit reluctant to order dies from Ebay UK - China but they arrived after 3 weeks, very reasonable price and cut well, best of all no postage, no brainer. I added Sizzix embossing folders and a Spellbinders sentiment tag
I saw a similar idea to this on Pinterest and thought I would give it a go. I painted the canvas with grey acrylic paint. Stamped various trees with a Stazon ink pad. Added a Sizzix figure and lamp post with Spellbinders gate dies. Made up some very wet white acrylic paint and tapped the paint brush to make the snow effect.
For 10 years now we have been clearing our loft, well we finally got to do it over the last few weeks. I came across a lot of china I painted. I have taken a box full to the charity shop to sell the rest I have put on my craft room wall. There is a painting of my dog Daisy and a Westie which was my next door neighbours both gone to doggie heaven. I no longer paint on china just watercolours and mostly cardmaking and sewing. I am never bored just not enough hours in the day sometimes for things I love to do.
I cut an aperture with a Spellbinder die and sponged through the opening. The flowers are also Spellbinders, the kite is a stamp that came with the magazine Creative Stamping. The mat and layers are Spellbinders.
I cut an aperture with a Spellbinder die then used a grey ink pad to sponge the opening circle. The stamps are SU. The background embossing is a Creative Expressions folder also the mat and layers are Spellbinders.
