The background I did with Distress Oxide ink pads and a sponge, first making a mask for the sun.. I used a Creative Expressions honeycomb mask with a green ink pad. The stamps are Woodware and the daisy die a Penny Black.
These are the cards we did at the Hospice workshop yesterday. We raised £1260 for the Day Hospice patients. Thanks you all the ladies that attended, for the lovely cakes made and the raffle prizes donated to make it such an enjoyable day.
I used the same leaf die set CED 1467 by Sue Wilson as the card below, colouring and heat setting the same. The background die is CED 4330 frames and tags also a Sue Wilson. Creative Expressions for the embossing folder and mat and layers.
A Sue Wilson leaf die also Spellbinders deckle edge shapes.I used Distress Oxide ink pads for the colour. Then stamped with a Veramark adding clear embossing powder and heat set
both the leaf and background.
This is my take on a card I saw on Pinterest. The flowers are Spellbinders coloured in with distress ink pads. The circles are also Spellbinder dies. The butterflies are a MS punch. The sentiment Spellbinders.
The Cosmic Shimmer Tex powder mixed with water over a mask for the wall effect. The cats are Memory Box dies and the lamp post a Marianne die. I coloured the background with Distress Ink pads and a sponge.
I have been making some small cards instead of my usual square. The top card has a Sizzix background die. The stamps are Heartfelt Creations. The second window card are Spellbinders dies for the window and flower box. The background stamp is a Penny Black. The pink card has all Spellbinder dies.
The background is one mask and Colour Cloud sponged through then a different mask with change of colour sponged through. The corner flourish is a Memory Box die and the dragonfly a Couture Creations die with a Spellbinders tag die.
This quilt was made by two friends, Sue and Jenny and myself. We are going to raffle it for our local Jersey Hospice. We entered it in our Eisteddford winning a Gold certificate with some lovely comments by the Adjudicator.
I am away tomorrow in Guernsey so posting today instead. The flowers are Tim Holtz tiny tattered floral. The stem a Memory Box die. The background I did by painting watercolour and letting it drip down.
